Herniated or Bulging Disc
Herniated Disc Pain can be Debilitating
Living with persistent back pain can make everyday tasks seem impossible. Simply going to work or doing household chores can cause extreme pain or discomfort.
Instead of turning to medications that can cause long-lasting damage to your health, you should consider the benefits of spinal decompression.
At Neighborhood Chiropractic, we believe it makes sense for most of our patients to try spinal decompression for relief of Neck pain, numbness and tingling down the arms, lower back pain and sciatica.
Spinal decompression relieves pressure to prevent pain and increase blood flow.
Dr. Park uses a state of the art spinal decompression machine to lessen your neck or low back pain. The force separates the discs in your spine to take the pressure off of the nerves and to increase blood flow to the area.
By taking the pressure off of the nerves pain goes away and your organs function better that are connected to those nerves.
Increasing blood flow provides more nutrients to damaged discs and pinched nerves. By improving blood flow and nutrition, we can help your body heal itself without surgery.
How does the Disk get Blood?
Something you may not have known, the intervertebral disc is avascular.
What does that mean??
When your heart beats, it sends blood to every part of your body except the intervertebral disc. There are no arteries going to the disc. Hence, it is avascular.
So, then it begs the question, how does the disc get blood??
The disc is soft and squishy and full of blood but the only way to get the blood to the disc is through MOVEMENT!
Your disc is a pump!! The red blood cells are created in the bone marrow of the spine. So every time your spine moves it sucks blood from the bone marrow into the disc.
But if you have a herniated disc, the pump will no longer work properly leading to Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD), Osteoarthritis, Spinal decay and PAIN!!
Why is Non-surgical Spinal Decompression so effective?

Spinal Decompressions gentle pulling causing negative pressures inside the disc.
Negative pressure creates a vacuum which draws the bulging disc off of the nerve allowing for pain relief and increased blood flow.
Decompressing the disc can slow or stop degenerative arthritis and its damaging effects.
Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression is so effective that many patients report complete relief of back and neck pain, eliminating the need for future back or neck surgery.
There is a solution and we are here to help! Today is the day to live pain free again! Call Dr. Park today to see if Spinal Decompression is right for you.
